The Equinox Duo, comprised of trumpeter Denver Dill and pianist Rebecca Wilt, is dedicated to performing, commissioning and expanding the literature for trumpet and piano. Since its conception in 2001, Equinox has played numerous concerts throughout the United States, Europe and Japan. They have commissioned several new works for trumpet and piano and have given numerous world premieres. In 2004 The Aspen Music Festival asked Equinox to act as musical ambassadors to their sister city: Katsuyama, Japan. Having completed a brief hiatus for medical reasons in 2006-2007, the Equinox Duo is returning to their busy performing and commissioning schedule, which most recently included a performance for the New York Philharmonic's Day of Berio.

Equinox is currently commissioning/recording arrangements of traditional hymns for a future CD release in support of Inheritance of Hope.
